Agora Intelligence Ltd ("Agora", "we", "our", "us") operates agoragame.com and the Agora mobile application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Account information. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address, chosen username, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plaintext password).
Sign in with Google. If you sign up or log in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address and display name from Google's authentication service. We do not receive access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
Gameplay data. We record your answers, confidence levels, response timing, and scores within each game mode. This data is used to compute your Reasoning Score and to improve the game.
Insights. Once you have played enough rounds, we analyse your gameplay patterns — such as answer timing, confidence levels, and topic choices — to generate a personalised weekly set of "Insights" cards describing your reasoning strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots. These are computed from data already collected under "Gameplay data" and are visible only to you inside the app.
Voice recordings. If you use the voice-input feature, your audio is sent to our transcription endpoint and forwarded to ElevenLabs for transcription. It is not stored by us after transcription is complete. See ElevenLabs' privacy policy for their data practices.
Reasoning text scoring. When you submit written reasoning for a question, the question text and your reasoning are sent to Google's Gemini API to compute a Reasoning Score. The response is stored against your account so we can track your score over time. We do not send other personal information alongside your reasoning.
Usage and device data. We collect product analytics through PostHog: pages visited, session duration, browser type, and in-app events. PostHog also records anonymised session replays of your interactions in the app to help us diagnose bugs and improve UX; text inputs are masked before recording. Analytics may be linked to your account ID so we can understand usage and improve the Service.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at the address below and we will delete the account.
We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account in the app or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability please contact us responsibly.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
